Descripción:Ketorolac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that acts by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins. It is used to control moderate to severe pain, and for reducing postoperative, postpartum and other types of pain. Ketorolac has been shown to be effective in a variety of clinical settings, including those involving hepatic impairment and congestive heart failure. The drug has minimal toxicity and can be used at high doses without adverse effects on the liver or kidney. In addition, ketorolac does not produce significant changes in pge2 levels in experimental models or human serum when administered orally.
