Kaempferol-3-O-glucorhamnoside is a cyclic peptide that inhibits the production of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in human peripheral blood mononuclear cells. It has been shown to inhibit the production of TNF-α and other inflammatory cytokines, such as IL-1β and IL-6, by inhibiting the activation of nuclear factor kappa B (NFκB). Kaempferol-3-O-glucorhamnoside has also been shown to have antihypertensive effects in rats with high blood pressure. This compound was identified through the screening of natural compounds and validated by chemometric analysis. The chemical composition was determined by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
