Descripción:Phthalazinone pyrazole is a compound that has been shown to have growth factor-like activity. It also has a regulatory effect on the production of antimicrobial agents. This compound was found to be active against hepatocyte-like cells and brain tumor cells in cell culture, but not against primary cells or cancer cells. The mechanism of action is based on its ability to induce mitochondrial biogenesis and inhibit cancer cell growth by causing morphological changes. Phthalazinone pyrazole has been shown to have anticancer activity in mice with aurka-induced lung tumors.
