Descripción:
Limonene is a monoterpene that has been shown to have synergistic effects with glycol ethers in the inhibition of bacterial growth. Limonene also has antibacterial efficacy against wild-type and mutant strains of Escherichia coli. Limonene has been shown to inhibit water vapor absorption from the air and can be used as a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) additive for DNA amplification. Limonene also has toxicological properties, but these are not well understood.
