Descripción

LOU064 is a covalent inhibitor of tyrosine kinases that binds to the ATP site of the enzyme. It has been shown to be effective in treating autoimmune diseases and inflammatory diseases in animal models, but has not yet been tested in humans. LOU064 is a reversible covalent inhibitor, meaning it can bind to tyrosine kinase enzymes and inhibit their activity without causing irreversible damage. This drug also shows selectivity for certain protein targets, such as epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR), and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2). LOU064 has not been linked to any serious adverse side effects and does not appear to have any negative impact on the immune system.
