• Descripción: IsoLetrozole is a non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor that blocks the conversion of androgens to estrogens. It is used in the treatment of breast cancer and endometrial cancer. Isoletrazole may be crystallised in acidic or basic solution with benzonitrile as a solvent. The crystals are then filtered and dried, yielding an off-white powder with a melting point of about 150°C. Isoletrazole has been found to have increased potency when activated by acetonitrile and minimizes flow rate problems when mixed with pharmaceutical formulations.
