Descripción:Lufenuron is a pesticide that is used for the control of flea populations. It has been shown to be effective in a low-dose group, and has been shown to have no adverse effects on humans. Lufenuron inhibits chitin synthesis and insect development by binding to lysine residues in the insect's chitin polymerase chain. However, this compound has been shown to have synergistic effects with other pesticides such as benzoate and permethrin, which may increase its effectiveness against insects. The analytical method for lufenuron is gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).
