Descripción

Lypressin is a cyclic peptide that is structurally similar to vasopressin. It has been shown to have pressor activity in experimental models and acts on the heart by increasing systolic pressure. Lypressin has been used as therapy for congestive heart failure, but it does not appear to be effective for this purpose. Lypressin has also been studied as a treatment for cardiac arrhythmias, although its efficacy in this area is unknown. This drug is biocompatible with living tissues and is capable of penetrating through human skin without causing irritation.
