• Descripción: Levocetirizine is a histamine receptor antagonist that belongs to the class of antihistamines. It is used for the treatment of allergic rhinitis, chronic idiopathic urticaria and mild-to-moderate asthma. Levocetirizine has been shown to inhibit the production of eosinophil cationic protein and glucose in humans when injected with glucose. Levocetirizine also has an effect on basic proteins, toll-like receptors, and polymerase chain reaction (PCR). This drug also has an effect on therapy groups and analytical methods. Levocetirizine dihydrochloride is available as tablets in two strengths: 5 mg and 10 mg.
