Descripción:Murexide is a drug that is used in the treatment of cancer. It has been shown to reduce the proliferation of tumor cells in vitro and in vivo, as well as inhibit the growth of some bacteria. Murexide binds to copper ions, forming stable complexes and disrupting the cell membrane. The drug has also been shown to have a water-permeable structure that allows it to penetrate tissues. In addition, murexide has a linear calibration curve and can be measured by titration calorimetry.
