Información del producto
- Benzaldehyde, 4-methoxy-3-(1H-pyrazol-1-ylmethyl)-
4-Methoxy-3-(1H-pyrazol-1-ylmethyl)benzaldehyde (4MEB) is an aldehyde that has been synthesised from 4-methoxybenzoic acid and 1H-pyrazole. It is used as a lead compound in the synthesis of chalcones, pyrazolines, and other chalcones. 4MEB has significant activity against methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). It can also be used as an intermediate in the synthesis of drugs with antihistamine properties. 4MEB has been shown to have significant activity against MRSA strains with the addition of hydrazine monohydrate or amines.
