Descripción:1-(3-Methoxyphenyl)piperazine (1MPP) is a piperazine derivative that has antidepressant and anticancer properties. 1MPP has been shown to have biological activity in the central nervous system, including the ability to inhibit 5-ht2c and 5-ht1a receptors, which are involved in regulating mood and appetite. The drug is also an antagonist of sesquiterpene lactone receptors, and has been shown to be active against both cancer cells and viruses. 1MPP binds to protein targets such as the human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1).
