Descripción:Methyl-4-cyanobenzoate is a nucleophilic compound that reacts with electrophilic functional groups. It is used in organic chemistry as an immobilized reagent for the conversion of alcohols, amines, and thiols to their corresponding halides. Methyl-4-cyanobenzoate has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties by inhibiting neutrophil migration into cutaneous tissue and reducing the production of proinflammatory compounds such as isobutene and naphthalene. It also inhibits the release of histamine from mast cells.
