Descripción:5-Methoxy-1,3-benzodioxole is a natural product that has shown antitumor effects in vivo. The mechanism of 5-methoxy-1,3-benzodioxole is thought to be due to its regulatory effects on tissues, which leads to the death of tumor cells. It also produces apoptotic cell death by regulating proteins. 5-Methoxy-1,3-benzodioxole has been shown to have antitumor activity against petroselinum crispum and cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. This compound induces apoptosis in tumor xenografts by decreasing the expression of regulatory proteins such as p53 and bcl2.
