5-(2-Methoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid is a neonicotinoid insecticide that is used to control pests such as aphids, cockroaches, ants, and termites. The compound has been shown to be effective in controlling pests with low doses, which has led to concerns about its use on crops that are eaten by humans or animals. 5-(2-Methoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid is used for the treatment of liver cells and epididymal adipose tissue in rats.
