It has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells in vitro and in vivo, as well as induce apoptosis. MIB has also been shown to have a potent antiproliferative effect on various cancer cell lines and other natural compounds. MIB is an efficient anticancer agent with a high quantum efficiency, which may be due to its ability to scavenge free radicals. MIB can also be used to increase the yields of other natural compounds.
