Descripción:
4-Methyl-pent-2-enoic acid ethylester (MPE) is an isomer of methylpent-2-enoic acid ethylester. It has vasodilator and vasoconstrictor properties. MPE has been shown to dilate blood vessels, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the enzyme phosphodiesterase in the blood vessel wall. MPE is also a reagent for carbethoxy, dichlorophenyl and alkenyl compounds that are used in organic synthesis. This product can be ingested orally or injected intravenously and can cause muscle spasms if injected too quickly.
