Información del producto
Methylenecyclopentane is a synthetic, nitrogen containing heterocycle that has been found to have antiviral properties. It was synthesized by the palladium-catalyzed coupling of two different alkyl groups, one with a methylene group and one with a cyclopentane ring. Methylenecyclopentane is an anti-viral agent that may be active against the herpes simplex virus. It binds to the enzyme thymidine kinase in the virus's DNA, which prevents it from replicating its DNA. This drug also inhibits neutrophil function and is an anti-inflammatory agent.
