The MMP-2/MMP-9 inhibitor V is a compound that inhibits both MMP-2 and MMP-9 activity. It has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in vivo by reducing the number of reactive stromal cells, which release cytokines that promote tumor growth. This drug also inhibits cancer cell migration and invasion, as well as angiogenesis.
