Descripción:
3-Methyl-1-benzyl-piperazine is an antiviral drug that inhibits the HIV cycle by binding to the HIV-1 receptor CCR5. It has potent activity against virus strains resistant to other drugs and has been shown to be effective in preventing virus replication. 3-Methyl-1-benzylpiperazine has also been shown to inhibit the growth of cells in a dose dependent manner and is considered cytotoxic.
