Descripción

Methenolone is a synthetic hormone that is used as an anti-inflammatory drug. It is also used to treat chronic pain, cardiac disorders, and metabolic disorders. Methenolone binds to the receptor for adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) and stimulates the production of colony-stimulating factors by fibroblasts. It has been shown to have cytotoxic effects on human osteosarcoma cells and lacrimal gland cells in vitro. Methenolone has been found in the urine of athletes who use it as a performance enhancer.
