Descripción:3,4-Methylenedioxyaniline is a nitro compound that has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on the hydroxylation of 3-methylcrotonic acid to 3-hydroxypropionic acid and the conversion of 3-methoxyacetophenone to acetoacetic acid. This inhibition may be due to its ability to interfere with the activity of cytochrome P450 enzymes. 3,4-Methylenedioxyaniline is used in the synthesis of quinoline derivatives, which are used as anti-inflammatory drugs or for treating autoimmune diseases. It also inhibits cancer cell growth by inhibiting DNA synthesis and protein synthesis.
