Descripción

1-Methyl-5-amino-1H-tetrazole is an organic solvent that is used as a primary amine. It has a proton in the chemical structure and reacts with triethyl orthoformate to form a gaseous product. The reaction yield is efficient with this method. The byproduct of the reaction is chlorobenzene, which does not react efficiently with the other reactants. 1-Methyl-5-amino-1H-tetrazole has been shown to have kinetic properties, which means it reacts rapidly at room temperature without requiring heat or light.
