Descripción:1-(2-Methylphenyl)piperazine 2HCl is a cholinergic agent that has been shown to increase the activity of acetylcholine in the brain. It has been used to study the effects of acetylcholine on locomotor activity and memory. 1-(2-Methylphenyl)piperazine 2HCl can be synthesized by reacting piperazine with paraformaldehyde. The synthesis of 1-(2-Methylphenyl)piperazine 2HCl is dependent on the alkyl substituents on the piperazine molecule, as well as whether or not it has an R group.
