1-(4-Methoxyphenyl)-4,4,4-trifluoro-1,3-butanedione is an inorganic substance that belongs to the class of metal ions. It has been shown to be a mononuclear axial ligand with parameters that are similar to those of bidentate ligands. 1-(4-Methoxyphenyl)-4,4,4-trifluoro-1,3-butanedione has been used as a synergistic agent for enhancing the fluorescence properties of transition metals and lanthanides. The compound has also been shown to have paramagnetic properties and can be used for magnetic transfer reactions.
