Información del producto
- 2-Methyl-thiazole-4-carboxylic acid
2-Methyl-1,3-thiazole-4-carboxylic acid is a fluorescent probe that interacts with metal ions. It has been shown to be an efficient fluorescence probe for chloride and proton interactions. 2-Methyl-1,3-thiazole-4-carboxylic acid has been used to study the Langmuir adsorption isotherm of chloride and proton interactions with the surface of a crystal x-ray diffraction. The transition from the ground state to the excited state is inhibited by ligands. The efficiency of inhibition depends on the type of ligand, as well as its concentration. 2MTCA has also been used to study ligand binding to proteins in solutions using fluorescence spectroscopy.
