Descripción:3-Methyl-4-nitropyridine-N-oxide is a molecule that contains a nitro group, an n-oxide group, and a hydrochloric acid group. It has not been studied in detail but is expected to be nonpolar. The nitro group makes the molecule electrically polar and the hydrochloric acid group makes it acidic. 3-Methyl-4-nitropyridine-N-oxide is soluble in organic solvents such as methanol or ethanol and insoluble in water. It has not been shown to have any biological activity.
