Información del producto
- Trimethylsilylmethyl Methyl Ether
Methoxymethyltrimethylsilane is a reactive chemical substance that is used in organic synthesis as an efficient method for the introduction of methyl groups. It reacts with hydrocarbon solvents and acid catalysts to produce methoxy groups on the surface of particles. Methoxymethyltrimethylsilane is able to react with nucleophilic attack, especially with electron-deficient surfaces such as silicon. This conversion can be carried out at relatively low temperatures, making it a very efficient method for introducing methyl groups onto particle surfaces. The spacing between electrons in the molecule's structure allows it to react with nitro compounds.
