Descripción:
3-Nitro-2-(pyridin-2-ylthio)pyridine is a heterocyclic compound that has been shown to be an antimicrobial agent. It has been used as an orientation of the molecule, and is shown to have a conformation with pyridine nitrogen. 3-Nitro-2-(pyridin-2-ylthio)pyridine also forms crystalline structures in the x-ray crystallography experiment, which are shown by molecular modeling studies. The molecule has two nitro groups on opposite sides of the pyridine ring, which are oriented in different directions. This orientation can be seen in the crystal structure of this molecule.
