The reaction of 5-nitrobenzo[d]thiazol-2-amine with an acidic dye leads to the formation of a covalent bond with the fiber, which imparts dyeability. 5-Nitrobenzo[d]thiazol-2-amine also has a low ph stability and can be degraded by tetrahydroquinoline. This product does not contain any residue.
