Descripción:Naphthol AS-LC is a reactive ester compound that has been used as a histological stain for cells and tissues. It can be used to detect the presence of propionate in homogenates. Naphthol AS-LC stains are also commonly used to determine the location of proteins and esters in cells, as well as to identify acid phosphatase activity in submandibular gland tissue. The reaction time for this reagent is short, so it can be used on samples that require rapid staining. Naphthol AS-LC is sensitive to light, which may cause it to lose its color or react with other compounds.
