Nickel 5,5'-azobis-2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)-pyrimidinetrionecomplexes are polycarboxylic acid complexes that can be used to prepare samples for light emission analysis. They contain a hydroxyl group as well as an amide and a particle that is colorless in the absence of light. When exposed to radiation they emit light with a maximum wavelength of 520 nm. These complexes are soluble in water and have a pH of 2.8-3.2 at 25°C. Their chemical formula is Ni[N(CHCO)], where N=N(CHCO). They are stable at room temperature and below but decompose when heated to about 100°C. Nickel 5,5'-azobis-2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)-pyrimidinetrionecomplexes are more acidic than the corresponding alkali metal
