Descripción

Dibenamine is an adrenergic receptor antagonist that inhibits the action of catecholamines. It is used as a vasodilator to treat high blood pressure and to decrease cardiac workload in patients with coronary artery disease. Dibenamine has been shown to be effective in treating ganglia and hepatotoxic effects. The drug also has stabilizing properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit serotonin release from platelets. Dibenamine hydrochloride is not active against bacteria and does not have any antibacterial activity.
