2-Nitrotetrafluoroaniline is an additive that is used in the manufacture of magnetic materials. It has been found to be a good candidate for use as a parameter for analysing magnetic properties, and its monitoring can be done by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). The spectra obtained from 2-nitrotetrafluoroaniline are used in the study of substituents and resonance. The chemical behaviour of 2-nitrotetrafluoroaniline in relation to other fluorocarbons is also studied using NMR. The fungicidal activity of 2-nitrotetrafluoroaniline has been investigated by studying its effects on fungi.
