Descripción:Norflurazon is a plant-growth regulator that inhibits the synthesis of carotenoids in plants. It is used to control weeds and increase the production of edible plants. Norflurazon is a contact herbicide that has inhibitory properties on rat liver microsomes and fatty acids in plastids. Norflurazon also inhibits photosynthetic activity, which may be due to its ability to interfere with the conversion of light energy into chemical energy.
