Descripción:
1-(4-(4-Nitrophenoxy)phenyl)ethanone is a coupling agent that is an effective catalyst for the reaction of halides with ethers, diaryl phenols and aryl halides. It can be used to synthesize polyaryl ethers and polyaryl amines. The reaction is catalyzed by microwaves under standard conditions, which makes it a useful alternative to the traditional method involving heating in a sealed tube. 1-(4-(4-Nitrophenoxy)phenyl)ethanone can be used as ligand for metal ions.
