Información del producto
- Isoliquiritigenin 4'-O-glucoside
Neoisoliquiritigenin is a flavonoid, which inhibits the function of tyrosinase and blocks the production of melanin. It has been shown to inhibit tumor growth and induce apoptosis in cancer cells. This compound also has an inhibitory effect on heart disease and pancreatitis, although its exact mechanism is not yet known. Neoisoliquiritigenin is metabolized by glucuronidation in the liver and excreted through the kidneys. In a pharmacokinetics study, it was found that neoisoliquiritigenin had a half-life of about 2 hours when administered intravenously to rats, with renal clearance being about 10%. When neoisoliquiritigenin was administered orally to rats, the half-life increased to about 3 hours with renal clearance being about 5%.
