Osthenol is a bioactive phenolic compound with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anticancer properties. It is obtained from the natural drug Angelicae Dahuricae. The process optimization of Osthenol production was achieved by optimizing the extraction process with matrix effect and thermal expansion. Osthenol has been shown to inhibit apoptosis protein in leukemia cells and to have an effect on dinucleotide phosphate in cells.
