The particle size of OctaInd is less than 10 micrometers, which can be inhaled or ingested by humans. The frequency of exposure to OctaInd in humans has been quantified and it has been shown that OctaInd alters the estrogen profile in vitro studies. In vivo studies have shown that OctaInd disrupts the endocrine system.
