Descripción:OPC 14714 is a new drug that belongs to the class of chromatographic antibiotics. It is currently being developed for the treatment of tuberculosis. OPC 14714 has been shown to have a potent anti-tuberculosis effect in animal models, and has a long half-life with good bioavailability. This drug has also been shown to be effective against multi-drug resistant strains of tuberculosis, with the potential to treat patients that are not responsive to other treatments.
