Descripción

Octotiamine is an amide that is a dietary supplement. It is used as an additive to food in order to provide the necessary fatty acids that are not provided by the diet. Octotiamine provides relief from the symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease, such as chronic bronchitis and locomotor activity. This drug also has been shown to have a protective effect against gastrocnemius muscle atrophy, which may be due to its ability to increase fatty acid synthesis.
