Descripción

Orobol-3'-methyl ether is a monoclonal antibody that inhibits soluble guanylate cyclase and blocks the production of cGMP. It has been shown to reduce the cytosolic calcium concentration in cells, which causes inhibition of protein synthesis. Orobol-3'-methyl ether has been used clinically to treat various cancers, including breast cancer, colorectal cancer, and prostate cancer. The growth factor that orobol-3'-methyl ether stimulates is not known. The genus of the plant Eclipta prostrata is not known. Orobol-3'-methyl ether has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis.
