Descripción

Panaxatriol is a natural compound that belongs to the group of natural compounds. It has been shown to have a protective effect against oxidative injury in myocardial infarct, and it also has a growth-promoting effect on neuronal cells. The cytotoxicity of panaxatriol has been measured using k562 cells and found to be significant when compared with other drugs. Panaxatriol exhibits cytotoxic effects by disrupting the mitochondrial membrane potential and interfering with the synthesis of proteins necessary for cell division.
