Descripción

Propanohydrazide is a bronchodilator that belongs to the class of antimicrobial agents. It has an intramolecular hydrogen bond between nitrogen atoms, which may be involved in its biological activity. Propanohydrazide has been shown to have antimicrobial activity against a number of bacteria, including Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as well as mycoplasma and chlamydia. The drug also has anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis by binding to fatty acid receptors on immune system cells. The drug is used for the treatment of infectious diseases such as pneumonia and bronchitis. It is also used for treating autoimmune diseases such as psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis.
