Descripción:2-Phenyl-1,3-thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid is a thiourea that can be synthesized by the ring opening of an oxazolidinone. It has been shown to have potent cytotoxicity against prostate cancer cells and is used in the synthesis of chalcone and cellulose derivatives. 2-Phenyl-1,3-thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid has also been shown to react with olefins to form enantiopure products. The reaction products are known for their anti-cancer properties.
