Poly(3-hexylthiophene-2,5-diyl) (regioregular) is a regioregular polythiophene that has been synthesized with the average molecular weight of 50,000 to 70,000. This polymer can be used as a light absorber in solar cells and displays a high quantum efficiency of up to 95% when photoexcited by sunlight. Poly(3-hexylthiophene-2,5-diyl) (regioregular) mitigates the nature of perovskite solar cells and can be used as a polymer film in solar cells.
