Descripción

(R)-N-(Prop-2-yn-1-yl)-2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-1-amine is a type of inhibitor drug that blocks the enzyme monoamine oxidase. It has been shown to have neuroprotective effects in experimental models of Parkinson's disease and to improve locomotor activity. (R)-N-(Prop-2-yn-1-yl)-2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-1-amine appears to be an effective pharmacological treatment for Parkinson's disease by reducing the death of neurons and increasing their growth. This drug also inhibits the production of neurotrophic factors that are necessary for neuron survival.
