6-Propoxypyridazin-3-amine is an anthelmintic. It is effective against haemonchus and other nematodes. The drug is a white, water-soluble powder that is stable in air, but decomposes readily in strong alkali or acid. 6-Propoxypyridazin-3-amine has shown to be highly active against haemonchus contortus and other nematodes, including those resistant to other anthelmintics. This drug has also been reported to have some activity against the cattle parasites Haemonchus placei, H. bovis, and Ostertagia ostertagi.
