Propargyl chloride is a chemical that is used as an inhibitor in organic synthesis. It can be used to synthesize compounds with reactive groups such as alkenes, ketones, and amines. Propargyl chloride reacts with the hydroxyl group of an alcohol to form a propargyl alcohol.
