Descripción:1-Phenyl-3-hydroxy-1,2,4-triazole is a potentiodynamic polarization inhibitor. It is used as a corrosion inhibitor in wastewater treatment and is also used as an antimicrobial agent in microbiological culture. 1-Phenyl-3-hydroxy-1,2,4-triazole inhibits the growth of microorganisms by regulating the metabolism of the cell membrane potential. It has been shown to be effective against Chlorpyrifos and other pesticides that are resistant to irradiation. This compound can be synthesized by electrochemical methods or physicochemical methods such as chlorination or photolysis.
